10 Behaviours That Will Make You Broke
10 Behaviours That Are Making You Broke
My mate sent me a message this morning with a quote from Tony Robbins.
He said – Life is happening for us, NOT TO US. Your problem is your gift.
I remember saving my 1st deposit for my 1st investment property. I had $20,000 in the bank. I had never seen this much money in my life. Being young and with no skills in money management I booked a 10 day holiday to America and spent the entire deposit. I came home, my now father in law kicked my ass, and over the next 6 months saved another $20,000.
Getting it together financially is tough. Especially when you’re just starting out. That said if you can get it together your life will change in ways you can’t even imagine right now.
STOP:
1. Spending more than you earn
2. Using credit cards, car loans and personal loans
3. Hanging around other people who are broke
START:
1. Paying yourself first
2. Delaying your gratification
3. Thinking long-term
FIND:
1. A mentor or coach
BUILD:
1. A plan Every single person I have ever meet who is financially free takes 100% responsibility for their own lives.
