If you were able to get a 6% gain on the same $400,000 per annum for 15 years your property would now be worth $958,000. Same outlay but in the second example, you and your family will be $238,000 better off over 15 years. It might only be 2% per annum but it will have a huge impact on your long-term wealth position.
