This Weeks Top Buy Under $410,000 – Jude & Yen

Every now and then we meet a client who lights up our office and who truly gets the value of investing in property. They come in with a vision of their future and we help them make it a reality. Jude and Yen recently picked up a 3 bedroom investment property, walking distance from the ocean in Brisbane for $405,000. They plan on spending $70,000 on a renovation and building a granny flat for $120,000 on the property. On the completion of the renovation and granny flat, their property should rent for $700 to $730 a week. The suburb is predicted to grow by over 7% per annum over the next 4 years according to Residex. We like this strategy as it takes into account timing, potential for capital growth, cash flow, manufactured growth and depreciation.
